The Director General of Tihar Prisons, Mr Neeraj Kumar will be the new Commissioner of Delhi Police. He will succeed present incumbent B K Gupta who retires on 30th of this month. According to an official release, Mr Kumar who is a 1976-batch IPS officer from AGMU cadre held various important posts during his career.
