Government today said that the common services center, CSC, needs to be strengthened to focus on financial inclusion of rural population on large scale. The CSC is a part of the National e-Governance plan which envisages to set up one lakh IT enabled access points to implement in a public private partnership. Addressing a workshop on catalyzing financial inclusion though common services center, Secretary, Department of Financial Services, G S Sandhu said that government will launch Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana tomorrow in which CSC has played an important role by providing IT services in the rural areas.News Content
