Government today emphasised on the need to spread awareness about its welfare schemes among the workers of the unorganised sector. Union Minister for Labour and Employment Mallikarjun Kharge while speaking at a function in New Delhi expressed concern about the welfare of the workers in unorganised and rural sector. He said that various schemes of the Government like Rashtriya Swasthya Beema Yojna, National Child Labour Programme and Workers' Education Scheme can reap maximum benefits only if people are made aware about the existence of such schemes. He also stressed upon the need to intensify training programmes to eliminate Child labour from the country.
