Union Power Minister Piyush Goyal has said that there is a need to further improve the quality of vocational education being provided to the youth in the country. Participating in a panel discussion in New Delhi, he said India needs to inculcate entrepreneurial temper in youth to prepare them, as the country charts its course as one of the fastest emerging economies. <br/><br/>The Minister said, India needs to reach out to the countryside and address the issue of unemployment there. Mr Goyal also stressed on increasing the use of technology to find affordable and sustainable solutions to steer India towards a better future. He added that development of smart cities in the country will have to be customised to the Indian context, while leveraging on economies of scale to make the requisite technology affordable.
