Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion Secretary Amitabh Kant has said that India must make itself an extremely simple and easy place to do business. Speaking at an event in Mumbai, Mr. Kant said old rules and regulations must be dismantled to encourage entrepreneurs and to boost manufacturing. He said, India must realise the importance of using technology and digitisation to enhance productivity. Mr. Kant said whole chain from production, distribution, after sales services and logistics needs to be integrated for best results.
