Stressing the need for combating terror globally with renewed vigour, Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan on Thursday said the menance in the neighbourhood is a matter of serious concern. <br/><br/>Speaking at a function organised in the memory of the victims of 26/11, he said, and serial train bomb blasts in 11th July, 2006. He also unveilied a memorial plaque at Church Gate in South Mumbai. Mr Chavan said, the country will fight and win the war against terrorism.<br/><br/>The Chief Minister said the government is actively considering a suggestion for installing 5,000 CCTV cameras at major traffic junctions and public places in the city on the lines of London.<br/><br/>Paying homage to victims of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, Australian Defence Minister John Faulkner today said such strikes are a reminder that the risk of terrorism continued and ongoing vigilance is needed. Acknowledging the bravery and sacrifice of all those who risked their life to save others, Faulkner said in Senate, in difficult conditions Indian security forces battled bravely and successfully to rescue hundreds of innocent people who were caught up in the attacks. He called upon the nations to work together to defeat terrorism in all its forms.<br/>
