Congress President. Sonia Gandhi has emphasised the need for dealing acts of terror by Naxals decisively and forcefully but at the same time there is need to address the root cause of Naxalism. <br/> <br/>In a letter to the Congressmen in the party mouthpiece Sandesh, Gandhi said that the rise of Naxalism is the reflection of the need for development initiative to reach the grassroots especially in the most backward tribal districts. <br/> <br/>She said that is why the Government is putting in place more targetted development schemes for such areas. Referring to the recent killing of the CRPF personnel in a Maoist attack in Chhattisgarh Mrs. Sonia Gandhi said that our though go out to the grieving families of those men who lost their lives. <br/>
