The centre said that all necessary steps are being taken in view of the US Advisory on indications of terrorists planning attacks in congested areas of Delhi . <br/> <br/>The US Embassy in New Delhi had asked its citizens in India to refrain from visiting congested areas in the light of the possible attacks to target US citizens. <br/> <br/>Australia also warned its citizens on Thursday to exercise a high degree of caution and avoid some of the shopping areas and markets in New Delhi because of the high risk of terrorist activity. <br/> <br/>Though Australia has not upgraded its travel advisory on India, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade updated its travellers' website to give information about the new warnings. <br/> <br/>Canada had also issued separate warning about possible attacks against markets frequented by foreigners in New Delhi.<br/>
