The centre today said that all necessary steps are being taken in view of the US Advisory on indications of terrorists planning attacks in congested areas of Delhi .<br/><br/>The US Embassy in New Delhi had asked its citizens in India yesterday to refrain from visiting congested areas in the light of the possible attacks to target US citizens. <br/><br/>Australia also warned its citizens today to exercise a high degree of caution and avoid some of the shopping areas and markets in New Delhi because of the high risk of terrorist activity. <br/><br/>Though Australia has not upgraded its travel advisory on India, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade today updated its traveler’s website to give information about the new warnings. Canada had also issued separate warning about possible attacks against markets frequented by foreigners in New Delhi.
