Nearly two million Muslims from across the world including one lakh 36 thousand pilgrims from India are converging to perform the most vital ritual of Haj, Waquf-e-Arafat or the Stay at plains of Arafat in Saudi Arabia today.<br/> <br/>The annual five day pilgrimage began yesterday with pilgrims spending the night in the tent city of Mina. After offering pre-dawn prayers there,pilgrims are now moving to plains of Arafat where they will spend the day praying and asking for God's forgiveness.<br/> <br/>They will listen the Haj Sermon and offer midday and afternoon prayers together before leaving for Muzdalifah in the evening.The pilgrims will spend the night there under the open sky.<br/> <br/>The pilgrims will return to Mina tomorrow morning for animal sacrifice and symbolic stoning of the devil.
