<span style="color: #222222;">Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri today handed over Conveyance deed on personal land to 34 people under centre's flagship scheme Pradhan Mantri Unauthorized Colonies in Delhi Awas Adhikar Yojna, PM-UDAY, in New Delhi.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' Briefing media after distribution of deeds, the Minister said, nearly 151 conveyance deeds have been issued so far. He said, around 2.15 lakh people have applied online for registration. Mr Puri said, a mechanism will be devised for simplified registration process and his Ministry is determined to complete the process in reasonable time frame. <br />''<br />''Terming the process a mammoth task, Mr Singh said, Vice-Chairperson Delhi Development Authority, DDA has been requested to prepare control norms, including making layouts in this regard. He said, with an aim of providing ease of living to the people living in unauthorized colonies in Delhi, his Ministry will be completing the registration process in next six months. He also added that distribution of deeds had nothing to do with the elections.</span><br />
