NDRI kits to detect milk & dairy product adulteration available

The National Dairy Research Institute, NDRI, has developed kits to detect adulteration of milk and other dairy products.
It has also developed kits to detect starch, sugar, glucose, urea, ammonium compounds, pond water, common salt, hydrogen peroxide and formalin in milk. The devise can detect detergent in milk. NDRI has offered the kit for use by the public and private sector companies.
This information was officially given in the Lok Sabha today.
