Government has deployed 8 Teams of National Defence Response Force, NDRF, in anticipation of the Cyclone, PHET. <br/><br/>According to an official release, the teams have been deployed in Rajkot, Porbandar, Junagarh, Bhuj and Jamnagar to assist local authorities in rescue and relief operations. <br/><br/>The teams are equipped with necessary equipment like Rotary Rescue Saw, Inflatable light towers, airlifting bags, inflatable boats and life jackets. <br/><br/>In addition to these arrangements, 6 Teams of NDRF have been kept standby at Vadodara. According to the Met Department, a depression formed over central Arabian Sea has developed into very severe cyclonic storm termed as PHET.
