National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has mobilized ten teams to Mumbai in view of extremely heavy rains for the last two days leading to water-logging in several parts of city. Three NDRF teams already prepositioned in Mumbai, are immediately supplemented by sending more teams. <br/><br/>In view of more rainfall forecast, the disaster response teams have been put on high alert and are keeping close watch over the situation. Additional teams are kept on standby to supplement the deployment wherever required. <br/><br/>In a statement, the NDRF said, it is closely monitoring the situation and is in touch with IMD and other agencies. MeT Department has predicted that city and its suburbs will experience intermittent rain with heavy to very heavy rainfall over the next 24 hours.
