Vice Chairman of National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), M Shashidhar Reddy has resigned from his post. Mr. Reddy told reporters in New Delhi that he has sent his resignation to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi three day before. Mr. Modi is also the chairman of NDMA. Mr. Reddy said some NDMA members have also resigned. He was appointed NDMA Vice Chairman during the UPA government.
