The National Disaster Management Authority, NDMA, will impart training to engineers of MCD to identify unsafe buildings in the national capital and strengthen them to withstand tremblors. Informing this in New Delhi, the Vice-Chairman of NDMA, Shashidhar Reddy said that the move will help to minimize the damage in case of earthquake. Mr. Reddy said that the authority has designed a curriculum in this regard and the engineers will be trained in a phased manner.
