The members of National Disaster Management Authority, NDMA, will be visiting Guwahati tomorrow to review the recent floods situation in Assam. In its two day visit the team will analyse the situation to improve the existing early warning, preparedness response and mitigation systems for future and what assistance can be provided by the government in this regard. The team comprises with NDMA member V.K. Duggal, K.M. Singh .They will also hold a meeting with the Minister in charge of Disaster Management, Chief Secretary, DGP and other senior officers of state.
