NDA's Presidential candidate Droupadi Murmu arrived in her home state Odisha to a rousing welcome in capital Bhubaneswar today. She was received at the Bhubaneswar airport by an array of top BJP leaders of the state and a large number of her supporters amidst performances by traditional cultural troupes. She is in the state to seek support for her candidature in the upcoming election for the country's topmost Constitutional post. At the time of filing this story, Ms. Murmu was having a meeting with the BJD legislators and Chief Minister Naveen Pattnaik in the State Legislative Assembly. She is also scheduled to meet the state BJP legislators later in the day.
