NDA Presidential nominee Ramnath Kovind arrives Dehradun to seek support of MPs, MLAs of Uttarakhand

NDA candidate for Presidential election Ramnath Kovind arrived in Dehradun today to seek support of MPs and MLAs of Uttarakhand. Mr Kovind met all the BJP MLAs and ministers and appealed them to support him in the forthcoming Presidential election. <br/><br/>NDA supported candidate for Presidential election Shri Ramnath kovind arrived Dehradun this morning. On his arrival Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat and other dignitaries of the state welcome Shri kovind at Joligrant Airport. He was then taken to the official residence of Chief Minister at New Cantt Road, where he met the BJP MPs and MLAs and requested for their support in the forthcoming election for the Presidency.<br/><br/>It is worth to mention here, that there are 71 MLAs in the Present Vidhan Sabha of Uttarakhand. Out of 71 MLAs 57 belongs to ruling party, all five Lok Sabha members are also from ruling BJP party. <br/><br/>Voting for the presidential election is scheduled on 17th July 2017. As Shri Kovind is supported by the ruling party, therefore the majority of the votes may be cast in favor of Shri. Kovind. <br/>
