Home Minister Rajnath Singh has said that the NDA Government will ensure the autonomous character of the National Investigation Agency and it will not be tempered with. <br/><br/>Speaking at the foundation stone laying ceremony of the NIA'S Headquarters in New Delhi yesterday, Mr Singh complimented the agency on establishing credibility at a time when there is a general crisis of credibility. <br/><br/>He said, the NIA is an autonomous body and it will remain so. Mr Singh expressed hope that the NIA would continue to do excellent work in future too. <br/><br/>The Home Minister also asked the NIA officials to be abreast of new technology and keep on improving their professional excellence.
