Minister of State for the Development of North Eastern Region or DoNER Ministry Jitendra Singh has said, the NDA government is focusing on overall development of the northeast region. <br/><br/>In an interview to Prasar Bharti in New Delhi yesterday, Mr. Singh said, eight Ministers are visiting to northeast region every 15 days to review the central schemes ensuring their effective implementation. <br/><br/>Mr Singh also said the Secretary and other officials of the DoNER Ministry are organizing a Secretariat camp in one state of the region every month.<br/><br/>Speaking over his Ministry achievement in two years of the NDA government, the Minister said the BJP led government has brought Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh on rail network and Tripura has been linked with broad gauge rail route.
