The BJP today said, the NDA government has drastically cut down the timeline of granting environmental clearance to projects from 600 days to 190. Party Secretary Shrikant Sharma said in New Delhi that during UPA regime, the prescribed timeline for such clearances was 600 days which caused delay in approval of projects. <br/><br/>He said, 2000 projects which were stalled during UPA rule were granted approvals during last two years of NDA regime. Mr Sharma said, the NDA government is contemplating to further bring down the timeline from 190 days to 100 days.He also said, the implementation of these projects will create more jobs.
