Ruling NDA allies today hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking bold decision to demonetise high value notes. <br/><br/>During the NDA meeting in New Delhi all ally partners unequivocally supported the government on demonetisation. <br/><br/>Talking to reporters after the meeting which was convened to chalk out strategy for the Winter Session of Parliament beginning Wednesday, Information and Broadcasting Minister Venkaiah Naidu said the mood of the nation is in favour of move. <br/><br/> He rejected opposition demand for roll back saying there is no question of rethink. He took a dig at the opposition adding that people will get to know in Parliament that who are siding with black money hoarders. <br/><br/>Parliamentary Affiars Minister Ananth Kumar said the government will address nation through Parliament. <br/><br/>LJP leader and Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan described the demonetisation as surgical strike against black money. Union Minister and RLSP leader Upendra Kushwaha, Akali Dal leader Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, Anandrao Adsul of Shiv Sena as well as TDP leader also lauded the government over the issue. <br/><br/>Earlier, BJP Parliamentary party executive met to discuss the strategy for Parliament. <br/><br/> Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers Arun Jaitley and Rajnath Singh and BJP President Amit Shah attended the meet.<br/> <br/>Meanwhile, opposition parties are gearing up to corner the government over demonetisation of higher value notes and other pressing issues in Parliament.<br/><br/> Congress and some other parties have sought suspension of business on the opening day of the session to discuss the demonetisation issue. Leaders of opposition parties held a strategy meeting in the evening.<br/><br/> Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, Ghulam Nabi Azad, CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury, Sudip Bandyopadhyay of TMC, JD(U) leader Sharad Yadav , D Raja of CPI and some other leaders participated in the meeting. <br/><br/> West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who had spoken to Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi and CPI(M)'s Sitaram Yechury and other opposition leaders yesterday to fight against the demonetisation, is scheduled to visit Delhi tomorrow.<br/><br/> Ms. Banerjee is reported to be attempting to bring other opposition parties on board for TMC proposed March on Wednesday from Parliament to Rashtrapati Bhawan to petition the President against demonitisations. <br/><br/>Other opposition parties including AAP, SP and BSP are also opposed to the government move.
