National Commission for Women (NCW) has taken a serious view of the gang rape of a girl at Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila University, Khanpur Kalan in Sonepat district and Rohtak based Apna Ghar shelter home abuse case following the concern shown by National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR). NCW chairperson Mamta Sharma said that the commission would soon intervene in these cases as it is a matter of concern. NCPCR has also been keeping close eye on the ongoing developments in these two cases including police investigation into the shelter home child abuse case.
