National Commission for Women today issued a notice to JD(U) leader Sharad Yadav for his alleged derogatory remarks against women. The Commission has sought explanation from him within 24 hours, failing which he will have to appear before the panel. <br/><br/>The NCW also condemned the use of such an offensive and objectionable language by person like him who is holding responsible position. Yesterday at a function in Patna, senior JD(U) leader had compared a woman's honour with votes. <br/><br/>NCW Chairperson Lalitha Kumaramangalam also termed BJP leader Vinay Katiyar's remarks on Priyanka Gandhi as unacceptable. Earlier, Mr. Katiyar had made comments about her looks.
