National Commission for Women Chairperson Mamata Sharma will visit Guwahati today to investigate the molestation of a girl on the night of 9th July. She will meet the Chief Minister and the victim. Earlier, the Commission sent a two-member fact finding team to Guwahati. One of the members of the team, Alka Lamba, was removed as she revealed the identity of the victim. The Editor of the television channel which first aired the video of the mob molesting the teenaged girl has resigned.
