Ahead of tomorrow's crucial meeting of the Chief Minister's on National Counter Terrorism Centre,NCTC, in New Delhi, the West Bengal Chief Minister Ms Mamata Banerjee reiterated that she will not support it as this is an attempt of interference in the federal structure of the country.
Talking to newsmen after meeting with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in the capital this evening, Ms Banerjee said that the centre has not changed the notification on the formation of NCTC yet.
Ms Banerjee also urged the Prime Minister to have three years moratorium on payment of interest of state's debt burden and restructuring of borrowings. Criticising the previous Left front government for incuring huge borrwings, Ms Banerjee said that centre should issue moratorium to the state as it was done in the case of Punjab earlier.
The West Bengal Chief Minister said that she has not fixed any deadline on the issue and will wait for some more time. She hoped that some solution will come out from discussions.
Ms Banerjee also urged the Prime Minister to declare Gurudev Rabindra Nath Tagore's Birthday on 8th of this month as a national holiday.
