The National Commission for Scheduled Castes has sought registration of FIRs against policemen accused of raping seven women in Bhatta Parsaul village in Greater Noida. These women were agitating against land acquisition by farmers. Talking to reporters in New Delhi, Chairman of the Commission P L Punia said they have written to Noida Police for registration of rape cases against the accused cops on the basis of affidavits given by the seven alleged rape victims of Bhatta Parsaul.
