National Career Service, NCS today signed a Memoranda of Understanding, MoUs with strategic partners in New Delhi for enhancing quality and reach of employment services through the NCS network. NCS project is being implemented by Ministry of Labour and Employment to provide a wide variety of employment related services to job seekers and youth through technology. The NCS portal facilitates job seekers to register online and employers to post vacancies free of cost.<br/><br/>Speaking on the occasion, Labour and Employment Minister Bandaru Dattatreya said, since its launch last year, the NCS has grown significantly and it covers over 3.6 crore job seekers, 9 lakh employers and mobilises over one lakh jobs. He said, apart from linking all the employment exchanges on a national platform, the Central government is partnering with leading industry players to develop a wide base of career for the youth. <br/><br/>The Minister also invited industry partners to take advantage of NCS in sourcing their human resource requirement and assist youth in making right career choice.
