NCPCR tells Manipur to review status of HIV/ AIDS infected children

National Commission for Child Rights (NCPCR) Chairperson Professor Shantha Sinha said on Wednesday that Manipur government must come up with a clear-cut plan to take proper care of the children infected by HIV/AIDS in the state. Heading a Jury Panel for the Public Hearing on Children Affected by HIV/AIDS and Drug Abuse at Imphal, Prof. Sinha said that state government must review the status of HIV/ AIDS infected children and their families. She further said that government should act proactively to address the grievances of these children in a more simplified way.
