National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) today slapped a notice on West Bengal government . It has asked it to investigate in next 10 days the incident in which a fifth class student was allegedly forcedto drink her urine in Santiniketan and submit a report to it.In a notice sent to the Secretary, School Education, West Bengal government, the NCPCR also asked the department to take further necessary action with regard to the incident. Noting that it got a complaint about the incident on Saturday about the incident at Patha Bhavan of Visva Bharati University in the state, the Commission said it has taken cognizance of the matter.””
