The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights, NCPCR has asked for a report from the Andhra Pradesh government on the death of more than 100 children in Kurnool District of the state due to viral fever.According to an official release, the Commission has taken cognizance of media reports that two more children died of viral fever while receiving treatment at the Government General Hospital on Thursday.With this, the total number of deaths rose to more than 100 in the district in the past one month. The State Government has been asked to furnish an initial Action Taken Report in the above matter within 15 days.
