Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani said that the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights NCPCR has an online portal Baal Swaraj to do real-time monitoring of children living on streets. In a written reply in Rajya Sabha today, Ms. Irani said, all the States and UTs have been directed by the Supreme Court to upload the data of children who have been identified to be in street situations. She said, the Ministry is implementing a centrally sponsored scheme namely Mission Vatsalya through States and UT governments for delivering services for Children in Need of Care and Protection including rehabilitation of children living on streets and Children in Conflict with Law. <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The Minister said, the Child Care Institutions established under the scheme support age-appropriate education, access to vocational training, recreation and health care. She said, the children in street situations are produced before the Child Welfare Committee for appropriate orders of rehabilitation as children need care and protection.</span><br />
