National Commission for Protection of Child Rights has appealed to parents and teachers to keep a close watch on those children who are showing abnormal and erratic behaviour which could be linked to Blue Whale Challenge game. <br/><br/>Recently, there have been several instances where young children have committed suicide, apparently after having played this game, which ends in suicide. <br/><br/>In an official release, the commission said, there have been successful interventions by parents, teachers and friends for preventing some children from taking the extreme step of committing suicide. <br/><br/>The government had yesterday said it will take action against internet-based social media platforms if they fail to remove links to the deadly Blue Whale Challenge game. <br/><br/>Law and IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad had said, clear instructions have been issued to all the technology platforms that they must delink this game immediately.
