Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Praful Patel today said that NCP is willing to continue its ties with Congress. Speaking to media persons in Mumbai, after NCP’s Core Committee meeting, Patel said, Congress has shown compliance to take the issue further and leaders of both parties will meet to discuss the seat sharing issue tomorrow in Mumbai.
He said that NCP wants due share of seats and it is not in favour of accepting Congress’s offer of 124 seats. Meanwhile, State BJP has also called its office bearers’ meeting in Mumbai tomorrow. Grand alliance or Mahayuti’s smaller allies today cleared their stand.
Addressing a press conference in Mumbai today Republican Party Leader Ramdas Aathwale said that if Shiv Sena and BJP fail to negotiate on seat sharing then RPI will decide on its own. Leader of Rastriya Samaj Paksh Mahadev Jankar has stated that his party will contest 125 seats if the grand alliance breaks.
