Giving a severe jolt to third front in Bihar, Nationalist Congress Party ( NCP) has announced that it will contest alone in the ongoing Bihar Assembly election and not ally with any party.<br/><br/>Talking to reporters in Patna Senior NCP leader Tariq Anwar said the party has taken the decision after Samajwadi Supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well as BJP .<br/><br/>Mr. Anwar said NCP has decided to contest over 45 seats. <br/><br/>Earlier Six parties – SP, NCP, Pappu Yadav's Janadhikar Party, Samras Samaj Party of former Union minister Nagmani, Nationalist Peoples Party of former Speaker PA Sangma and Samajwadi Janata Party of former Union minister Devendra Prasad Yadav – had announced the launch of the third front named Socialist Secular Morcha and contest to election jointly.
