NCP MLAs ask Ajit Pawar to take back resignation

All the MLAs of Nationalist Congress Party in Maharashtra today passed a unanimous resolution backing Ajit Pawar. In a crucial meeting held in Mumbai today, all the MLAs have requested Mr. Pawar to take back his resignation. Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Maharashtra NCP Spokesperson Shashikant Shinde informed that all NCP MLAs and MLCs will meet party chief Sharad Pawar on Friday in Mumbai and the final decision will rest with him. Earlier, the reports said that the crucial meeting of NCP MLAs has been cancelled due to the demise of a senior party MLA.
