The Nationalist Congress Party-NCP on Monday said that it is the integral part of the UPA government and its alliance will remain intact till 2014. The NCP Working Committee met in New Delhi to discuss its future course of action about NCP- UPA alliance. Briefing reporters after the meet, senior party leader and Union Minister for Heavy Industries Mr. Praful Patel said that his party will also meet on Tuesday to discuss the issue of alliance with NCP leaders of Maharashtra and a final decision would be taken after the meeting.

Mr. Patel also said that NCP is as committed as the Congress to provide good government and clean government in Maharashtra. Replying to a question, he said that party chief and Union Agriculture Minister Mr. Sharad Pawar is not seeking the chair next to the Prime Minister.
