<span style="color: #222222;">In Maharashtra, the newly-elected Legislature Party leader of NCP, Jayant Patil met Raj Bhawan officials this morning and submitted a letter for  Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, informing about the replacement of Ajit Pawar as the Legislature Party leader.<br />'' <br />'' A list of NCP MLAs was also submitted.<br />'' <br />'' When AIR News contacted Raj Bhavan, the officials there said the Governor was not in Mumbai, presently. He is in Delhi for Governors' Conference.<br />'' <br />'' The NCP yesterday removed Ajit Pawar from the post after he extended support to BJP to form government in the State. He was sworn sworn-in as deputy chief minister.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, BJP leader and Mumbai unit president Ashish Shelar said Ajit Pawar was elected as the NCP's Legislature Party leader on November 20 and a letter in this regard was submitted to the Governor. It was on the basis of the letter, the Governor decided to administer oath to Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar.<br />'' <br />'' After the Governor has taken his decision, any decision to change the Legislature party leader can only be taken after consulting the Governor. He reiterated that Ajit Pawar is still the Legislature party leader of NCP.<br />'' <br />''Meanwhile, Congress today shifted its MLAs to a hotel in Mumbai while the NCP MLAs are staying at another hotel in the city.<br />'' <br />'' Shiv Sena has already put up its MLAs in a hotel. Shiv Sena MLAs, Subhash Desai, Vinayak Raut and Pratap Sarnaik are said to have met Congress MLAs at the hotel.</span><br />''
