NCP Chief Sharad Pawar discharged from hospital

Nationalist Congress Party president Sharad Pawar was discharged from a hospital in Pune today. Doctors said all his medical tests were normal. <br/><br/>Pawar spent three days in this Hall hospital after he complained of exhaustion and breathlessness. He appeared cheerful and rejuvenated on his discharge.<br/><br/>Doctors attending to him have advised complete rest to the 76-year-old leader for a week, but he shot back saying he couldn't sit in one place for too long.<br/><br/>"I have tours lined up for the next two months without a single day off. Let's see how I can take rest. I hate sitting in one place too long," Pawar told reporters. He left for Mumbai later by a special helicopter, party officials said.

NCP Chief Sharad Pawar discharged from hospital

Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar, who was hospitalised on Sunday following minor kidney problem and water retention, was discharged this morning from Pune-based Ruby Hall Clinic. He has been advised to take rest for a week.<br/><br/>NCP spokesperson Nawab Malik told agencies that after discharge from the hospital, Mr. Pawar left for Mumbai by a helicopter.
