The National Crisis Management Committee, NCMC headed by Cabinet Secretary Pradeep Sinha, today held a meeting in New Delhi to take stock of the rescue and relief operations being carried out in flood hit Tamil Nadu and adjoining areas of Andhra Pradesh. <br/><br/>During the meeting, Mr Sinha held discussions with top officials of Indian Meteorological Department, National Disaster Relief Force and National Disaster Management Authority. He also discussed the situation with senior government officials of Tamil Nadu through video conferencing. The meeting was also attended by senior officials of other crucial ministries, including Ministry of Home Affairs.
