The NCC National Games- 2016 today formally declared open by Officiating Director General of NCC Maj. Gen. JS Sandhu at New Delhi. Mr Sandhu said the objective of the games is to provide talented sports persons amongst the cadets and prepare them for future sporting events. He urged cadets to grab this opportunity and make the most of it. AIR correspondent reports more than two thousand NCC Cadets from various places of the country are participating in this game. The Games being conducted over ten days will see competitions in seven sports disciplines. Cadets will participate in Football, Hockey, Basket Ball, Handball and Shooting for boys and Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Handball and Shooting for girls. The closing ceremony will be held on 26th of this month.
