Girl cadets from National Cadet Corps, (NCC) completed a 60 Kilometer trek in the difficult terrain of Darjeeling Hills. More than 1000 Girls Cadets from all over India participated in the 'Kanchan Surya Darjeeling Bagan Trek' conducted only for Girls Cadets by Group Headquarters of NCC, Darjeeling and Sikkim. <br/><br/>The Girls Cadets also voluntarily donated eye and organs after death. Major General A.K. Ghosh ADG, NCC Directorate of West Bengal and Sikkim thanked the cadets and praised their sense of selfless service and social awareness. Major General Ghosh and other officers also took part in this along with the cadets to encourage them.
