Director General, National Cadet Corps (NCC) Lieutenant General Gurbirpal Singh today held a meeting with his Maldivian counterpart Brig Gen Wais Waheed in New Delhi. The meeting was aimed to further bolster the ties between the organizations of the two countries while enhancing cultural and historical exchange between the youth and strengthening the ties.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The visiting dignitary was informed about the history of NCC India, the training of cadets, and the Youth Exchange Programme between India and the Maldives. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on addressing the challenges faced by Maldives NCC. Defence Ministry said, NCC India extended its support to the Maldives to face the challenges and invited them to subscribe to the courses run by NCC India for trainers and cadets.</span><br />
