Around 5 thousand NCC cadets will be trained as volunteers for the Commonwealth Games to be held in New Delhi in the month of October this year.This was stated by NCC Director General Lt Gen R K Karwal at the annual Republic Day Camp in the capital. He said that the training process for these cadets will start from next month. Describing the role of NCC cadets during the Games, he said that the volunteers will run alongside the 'Queen's Baton' wherever it goes in the country and will also help the participants and tourists to reach event venues during the mega event.
