In Manipur, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has seized more than 12 lakh tablets of Ephedrine from the office of a courier company named Blazeflash Courier Limited at Imphal. An official release of the Regional Unit of NCB at Imphal on Thursday said, the approximate value of the seized drug in the international illicit market is more than 120 crores of rupees. The illegal drug has been seized on the fifth of this month on one consignment consisting of eight cartons from the courier’s office at Imphal. In the follow up action, three persons connected with the consignment to be distributed to Myanmar have also been arrested. Two vehicles allegedly used by the drug traffickers have also been recovered by the NCB.
