In Chhattisgarh, two Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) jawans were killed in an encounter with the naxalites in Dantewada district on Wednesday. According to police sources, the CISF jawans were returning after their routine duty on Wednesday afternoon when the naxalites opened fire at them near Akashnagar in the Bacheli mines area of the NMDC, National Mineral Development Corporation. In the shoot -out that followed two CISF constables were killed. Two jawans were also reportedly injured in the encounter.The naxalites are also said to have looted two guns from the jawans. Police parties have rushed to the spot. On the other hand, naxalites also blasted off a bridge under construction in the Narayanpur district of the state last night. The bridge was being constructed across a local river near Sakhribeda.
