Naxals have hijacked a truck carrying 16.5 tonnes of Ammonium Nitrate explosives in Bastar district of Chhattisgarh. The consignment was on its way to a Raipur factory from Vishakapatnam.<br/>Police have launched an operation to track the explosives, which is used by Naxals for making improvised explosive devices. According to Bastar Superintendent of Police, P Sundarra, the incident came to light when the truck driver was released last night, following the hijack. A high alert has been sounded in the state.<br/>
