In Maharashtra, an armed group of Naxalites gunned down two villagers at Sindesur village in Kurkheda taluka of the Naxal-affected Gadchiroli district today.Police sources said the victims have been identified Madhukar Kapgate and Vinayak Lohambare belonging to the nearby Jambhulkheda village. They were abducted by an armed group of Naxals last night while returning to the native place from Chinchgad in Gondia district and brought to the Sindesur village at wee hours in the morning and killed by firing the bullets indiscriminately.The villagers seem to have been killed on suspicion of being the police informers. The police have launched search operation to nab the culprits, the sources added.
