Naxals abducted seven villagers, blocked a road and burnt about a dozen vehicles in a fresh wave of violence in trouble-torn Bastar and Bijapur districts respectively. Police sources said the Naxals had abducted 10 villagers of Bastar district's Mutanpal and Burgum on Sunday out of which four returned home while the whereabouts of six were still not known. The naxals also blocked a 25 km stretch of road between Kakukanar and Sukma by felling trees in the district last Wednesday night.<br/><br/>District Superintendent of Police Sunderraj P however confirmed to that there were four villagers abducted from Mutanpal and three from Burgum.
